The December 2009 Jobseekers Allowance figures have been added to the Local Economic Monitor. The figures include data on the number and proportion of people claiming Jobseekers Allowance, the ratio of claimants to available jobs, and the calendar year changes in the number and proportion of people claiming Jobseekers Allowance.

In addition data on the total number of Job Centre vacancies for December 2009 has been added to the LEM.
